Be impressed by the sturdiness and charm of this Flatiron Folding Cleaver from Gerber. Take this pocket knife to your outdoor barbecue to slice rare meat or mountain tomme. Whether you're out and about or just doing odd jobs around the house, its sharpness is sure to help.
This knife features a two-stage handle. The front side is made of refined G10 material. This is fiberglass soaked in resin. This mixture is then compressed and hardened by firing to obtain a material that is hard and comfortable in the hand. On the reverse side, stainless steel is used to accommodate your palm. The end result is a handle that's tough and comfortable to hold. What's more, a fingerprint is available for improved grip.
As for the blade, it takes on a beefy cleaver style perfect for outdoor tasks. The razor-sharp blade is made from 7Cr17MoV steel for a safe, perfect cut. This steel alloy is highly resistant to corrosion and wear.
The blade can be opened with just one hand, thanks to a thumbhole on the back of the blade. Once open, the blade is locked by the entire handle to guarantee user safety. This Frame-Lock system prevents the blade from folding over your fingers.
For transport, a pocket clip allows this knife to be stored discreetly in a pocket.
