Choose this magnificent Laguiole folding knife in Aubrac olive wood!
Laguiole en Aubrac is a French artisan cutlery company that designs top-of-the-range folding knives and table knives with the greatest respect for the cutlery-making tradition of its region. All our knives are made by craftsmen in the historic Laguiole region, and bear the LOG (Laguiole Origine Garantie) stamp on the heel of the blade.
This folding knife features a 10.5cm blade in top-of-the-range Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. This sturdy steel enables your blade to resist corrosion and impact. It also features a small notch for easy opening and is engraved with the brand logo. Its smooth cutting edge ensures a perfect cut.
The handle measures 12cm and is made of olive wood. Olive wood is a luxurious and robust species, and its warm hue and specific veining make each knife unique. A magnificent guilloche pattern is visible on the upper part of the knife, in the continuation of the emblematic Laguiole bee. The dotted Shepherd's Cross completes the handle decoration, giving you an authentic Laguiole knife.
The bolster connects the blade to the handle for added strength. It features a forged stainless steel spring for easy opening and closing of the knife. The bolster and blade have a slightly matte finish to prevent fingerprints.
Important when opening and closing the knife: you need to accompany the blade when you want to open or close it. You mustn't let the blade "snap", as it could be damaged by speed.
This knife makes a great gift idea, as it comes in a protective sheath and cardboard pocket. It can be safely stored.
