Lékué Cheese Maker Kit + Recipe Book

With the Lékué Cheese Maker Kit, learn how to make your own homemade fromage frais!

Lékué has designed this kit for homemade cheese lovers. Making your own fromage frais means you can be sure of what you're putting in it, while having the satisfaction of saying "I made it myself!

The kit contains 1 bowl, 1 strainer and 1 lid for easy, fun use:

1. Pour the milk into the bowl, then heat in the microwave at 800 Watts for 12 to 14 minutes.

2. Once the milk is hot, if you want to add chives, chopped onions or lemon juice, now's the time. For liquid ingredients, the lid is graduated on the inside for easy measuring. Stir with a spoon and leave to stand for 30 minutes.

3. Place the colander in your sink, and pour out the contents of the bowl to drain and keep only the curdled milk. Place the full colander in the bowl and close with the lid. Place the bowl in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

4. Turn out onto a pretty presentation plate. All set!

Both the bowl and the strainer are made from synthetic materials guaranteed free from Bisphenol A. They're sturdy, hygienic and safe for your health.

The lid is made from high-grade Platinum silicone. This type of silicone is made from silicon found naturally in rock, quartz and sand. Containing no plastic, it is odorless and flexible for perfect food hygiene and easy handling.
