For almost 60 years, Maniago Knife Makers or MKM has been continually impressing us with the design of its quality folding knives, and it's fair to say that MKM is a benchmark when it comes to pocket knives. For this version, MKM and designer Terzuola have concocted a folding knife from the Clap range , with an olive wood handle combined with a titanium bolster and a razor-sharp blade in Bohler M390 steel.
What could be better than a wooden handle for a folding knife to have an excellent grip and optimal control. What's more, this is no ordinary wood: it's olive wood, renowned for its beauty and antibacterial qualities. All these qualities are combined in this handle.
As mentioned above, its Drop Point blade is made from Bohler M390 satin-finish powder-treated steel. It features extreme wear resistance, high resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress.
This blade can be deployed in two easy ways: by pulling on the small nail notch on the back of the blade (Nail Nick), or by pulling on the thumb stud between the blade and the handle (Flipper). In addition, a Frame-Lock mechanism locks the blade in the open position, ensuring peace of mind during use.
Finally, a blue titanium pocket clip is fitted to the back of the handle for easy carrying. What's more, you can also store it in a black nylon sheath adorned with the MKM logo.
