Two types of opening are available for this Clap version: the Nail Nick and the Flipper. The Nail Nick features a small notch on the back of the blade. Pulling on this nail nick allows you to deploy the blade. The Flipper, on the other hand, is a pin placed between the blade and the handle. As with the nail nick, simply pull on the nail nick to release the blade.
What's more, a Frame-Lock mechanism holds the blade of your knife in the open position. This guarantees your safety when using the knife without the risk of it folding back.
For transport, a blue titanium pocket clip is integrated into the handle. It makes it easy to carry your knife on long hikes. You can also store it in its black nylon sheath, an accessory supplied with your MKM Clap pocket knife.
