Old Bear knives have been handcrafted in Italy since 1925. They are the bearers of unique know-how!
This knife (model S) has a 7cm blade in AISI 420 stainless steel, with a hardness of 54/56 HRC on the Rockwell scale. It features the brand's bear logo engraved directly on the cutting surface, for enhanced authenticity.
The blade can be folded into the handle to save space and practicality! It is secured by a safety ferrule in brass, entirely hand-brushed by a craftsman. The ferrule is a sort of modular ring linking the blade to the handle.
Simply turn it to unlock the blade so you can move it into the cutting position, or turn it the other way round once the blade is folded, to lock it into the handle. Practical and efficient! In fact, this opening/closing system has been patented by the manufacturer.
The 10cm handle is made of walnut wood. This dark, hard-wearing wood has a unique grain that gives it a distinctive look.
Of course, as this is a handcrafted knife, it is unique and may differ slightly from other models in the range. This adds authenticity to the knife, which is an original model, and in no way detracts from its functionality.
The knife is supplied in a small cardboard box, for an extra rustic look! Each box also contains the quality control certificate signed by the craftsman himself. So you can make a great gift for a loved one (or treat yourself, too)!
