Opt for the uniqueness of Opinel Facette slate-colored table knives!
This set contains 4 table knives with handles made from VittEr® eco-material, a new composite material made from compressed paper. VittEr® is completely waterproof and perfectly antibacterial, to meet strict hygiene standards. It also enables these knives to be efficiently washed in the dishwasher.
It also retains neither tastes nor odors from food, making it suitable for use in both domestic and professional kitchens. It is also highly resistant to scratches and shocks, making it highly robust and durable.
VittEr® is attached to the full tang blades of the knives by 3 small rivets, guaranteeing you reliable knives with tenfold strength.
The Facette range was imagined by the BIG-GAME design studio, with whom Opinel has already worked on its Intempora range of kitchen knives. The choice was made to retain Opinel's traditional Yatagan heel and blade, but to give it a modern twist. To achieve this, the knives' full tang protrudes slightly from the handles. The mix of tradition and modernity is combined with a superb slate color, making these knives elegant pieces for any table.
The knives have a blade made of MA5 martensitic steel. This stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion and impact, while offering excellent mechanical performance. As it is highly resistant to wear, it enables you to easily cut hard foods without the risk of breaking bones. MA5 stainless steel has a hardness of almost 56HRC, ensuring a clean, efficient cutting edge that's easy to sharpen.
Featuring a micro-serrated cutting edge, the 11cm blades effortlessly cut through a wide range of foods, especially meat. Flesh is preserved for high-quality tasting.
Finally, the blade of each knife features a full tang design, meaning that the blade measures the entire length of the knife. The assurance of sturdy, reliable knives.
The knives in this set are made in France to the highest quality standards. They are presented in a superb blue box, giving them cachet and making them a great gift idea.
KnifeLeader also offers a wide range of table knives!
