This 10cm ziricote Salamandra folding knife is a must-have for walks in the forest!
Salamandra is based in Albacete, a stronghold of top-of-the-range cutlery in Spain. The cutlery maker produces handcrafted folding knives using noble, high-quality materials.
The knife has a 10cm handle made of ziricote wood. Ziricote is a very hard and robust precious exotic wood, distinguished by its very dark color, here tinted black. The wood's narrow, slightly undulating grain can vary from one knife to another, making each piece unique.
The knife blade is made from 1.4116 stainless steel, an alloy forged at 1200°C, then cooled and hardened. This process gives the steel a hardness of 58HRC, synonymous with easy daily maintenance. It is a corrosion- and shock-resistant steel.
The blade opens with the Nail Nick system, a notch in the blade. It locks and closes with a flat notch system. Your knife is safe to use and store.
There's a hole at the end of the handle for a lanyard. The knife also comes with an elegant leather pouch for easy storage and transport. Simply slip the knife into your backpack!
