Cole & Mason 8-bottle spice carousel

This Cole & Mason spice carousel keeps your favorite spices close at hand in a refined way. For many years, Cole & Mason has specialized in the creation of seasoningUtensils, such as salt and pepper mills, spice organizers and mortars. So it's with this experience in mind that the manufacturer has designed this ingenious, designer carousel!

This spice mill features a black base with central handle, which allows the mechanism to turn on itself. The stand has a non-slip base to stabilize it on a flat surface. To pick up one of the spice bottles, simply unclip it from the holder: a quick and easy manoeuvre (same system for putting it back on, just press).

The carousel features 8 hermetically sealed bottles, with a glass base (to respect the spices and avoid imparting any taste), and shiny chrome lids. Each bottle is marked with the name of the spice it contains on the lid, for added convenience. You can choose between two settings for arranging the spices on your preparations (not counting the closed position, of course):

- pour: for a fast, high flow rate, e.g. for seasoning large quantities of preparations,

- sprinkle: for a small, well-distributed quantity of spices to give a subtle flavor to your dishes.

The carousel is delivered with bottles already filled. Find out more about their contents:

- paprika: a light pepper with a very mild, slightly sweet taste, it adds a fragrant touch to your dishes without making them overpowering.

- rosemary : spices up simmered vegetable dishes, such as ratatouille or vegetable tian

- turmeric: a mild flavor that adds color to mayonnaise, scrambled eggs, etc. Pairs well with poultry or white fish.

- sage: beyond its health benefits, sage goes well with pork, poultry, veal or duck. Widely used for stuffing.

- parsley : its subtle flavor is ideal for flavoring oil.

- oregano : a taste of the Mediterranean awaits you! Very useful in tomato sauce or on pizzas.

- basil: very easy to use, it's perfect for fish, sauces... and for making a tasty pesto!

- thyme: a staple of Provencal cuisine, it's perfect for tomato sauces, pan-fried vegetables or grilled meats.

Of course, once emptied, you can always refill the bottles.
