This mill is equipped with the Zirlion mechanism, a Peugeot innovation. Made from zirconia, an ultra-resistant ceramic, it offers unique advantages:

The Zirlion mechanism enabled Peugeot to invent ice salt: by using 3 times less salt, your preparations taste just as good!

The mill is suitable for

• Dry salt
• Crystals up to 6mm in diameter

Warning: wet salt, even dried, is strictly forbidden to avoid damaging the mechanism.

Adjusting the grind is easy: simply screw in the stainless steel knob for a fine or ice grind, and unscrew it for a coarser grind. To fill the mill, simply unscrew the knob, remove the head, add your dry salt crystals and close.

This mill is made from PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) certified wood from French forests. This responsible choice ensures sturdiness and respect for the environment, for an utensil that lasts.
