Description

To maintain the performance of your knives, we strongly recommend the use of good maintenance equipment. Don't miss out on DMT's Diamond Sharpening Sharpening Steel for fast, effective blade sharpening!

For the surface of the wick, American company DMT offers you a cutting-edge sharpening solution with micronized monocrystalline diamond technology . With a medium 600 grit, the diamond surface stands out for its high level ofabrasiveness. This means you'll have no trouble straightening the edge of the blade to obtain a good cutting edge.

This sharpeninggun is equipped with a 30cm-long round bit. Its lightweight construction makes sharpening easy and safe.

There's no need to add oil after use. Remember to sharpen your knives with a little water or dry. As for the handle, it's made of highly resistant polymer to give you an unrivalled grip.

How do I use it?

Grip the Sharpening steel with your right hand and the knife with your left, or vice versa if you're left-handed. Then place the base of the blade on the sharpening steel at an angle of approximately 20° to 30°. Gently slide the blade over the round bit, maintaining a constant angle. Finally, make the same movement, but this time slide the blade under the wick. Repeat this action 6 to 8 times in alternation: sharpen once on the bit and once under the bit.
