Description

The ceramic rollers are activated by a back-and-forth movement of your kitchen knife, using the same back-and-forth motion as in conventional cutting to sharpen a kitchen knife.

The cutting angle is already set, so there's no risk of scratching the blades or even injuring yourself.

I tested this sharpener on a VG10 blade, fortunately not my best, as I didn't retain the symmetry of the grind. Maybe I didn't use it properly, but the Japanese instructions weren't much help.

Product conforms to the description and also to my expectations. Sharpening a knife with conclusive results. The 8/10 rating concerns the enclosed instructions, which do not include the French language despite precise French regulations on this subject.
