Byrd knives are a pure creation of the Spyderco brand! Spyderco is famous for the design and efficiency of its folding knives. That's why the brand has decided to offer a range of knives at attractive prices for fans of Spyderco's distinctive design.
This Byrd Hawkbill BY22SBK knife features a hook-shaped serrated blade. It is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel , similar to Japanese AUS-8 steel, with a hardness of 58HRC. Its curved shape is ideal for cutting rope and fibrous materials such as cardboard. This shape prevents the rope from slipping when cutting, for example.
The handle of this Byrd Hawkbill knife is made of black nylon and fiberglass. This is a sturdy material, and the small embossed patterns give you a good grip. The clip can be removed and positioned in 4 different positions. At the end of the handle, the hole allows you to insert a thin rope for added safety when holding.
The small notches on the back and bottom of the blade are ideal for securing your fingers and facilitating forceful cutting. In particular, the notches prevent accidental slipping on the cutting edge.
The knife opens through the thumbhole. Place your thumb in the hole on the blade and unfold the blade with one hand. Once unfolded, the back lock prevents the blade from closing unintentionally. To close the blade again, simply press the pump on the handle to unlock the knife.
The Byrd Hawkbill serrated knife is just waiting for you!
