Big Love teaspoons are emblems ofAlessi's Italian design. Both original and functional, they are a must-have for tea lovers and were designed by Miriam Mirri.
Mirri is a renowned Italian interior architect and designer. Miriam Mirri 's work focuses on interior design, tableware and pet accessories. She regularly collaborates with leading architectural firms around the world, and was awarded the Fritz Henkel Prize for Innovation in 2006.
This set of 4 teaspoons is a variation on the original Big Love from 2002. Mirri imagined heart-shaped ice-cream spoons suitable for sharing an ice-cream sundae with others. The spoon is barely rounded, recalling the shape of traditional ice cream spoons. What's different is the heart-shaped tip, which adds an elegant designer touch to the spoons. The teaspoons have kept these codes, but their length has been adjusted to fit the teacups, allowing the sugar to be mixed perfectly.
The spoons are made from 18/10 stainless steel, an alloy renowned for its strength, resistance to corrosion and durability. They feature an elegant mirror finish, making them an original addition to any table. The spoon handles are ideally designed to sit comfortably in your hand. It's also curved for when you're sharing ice cream with others: your spoons cross diagonally, but don't get in each other's way.
