How do I maintain a wooden cutting board?

Never immerse a board directly in water for any length of time, and never use a dishwasher - it's absolutely incompatible. Then wipe with a soft, clean cloth to avoid leaving any traces of moisture. Finally, to preserve all its qualities, it is highly recommended to nourish it with Kuïstot maintenance wax at least once a month. Before applying this protective cream, your board must be clean and dry. Using a soft, lint-free cloth, apply a generous amount of wax to the entire surface of the board, leaving it to soak in for around ten minutes. Finally, wipe off any excess with another clean cloth.
