ADOPT AN ECO-FRIENDLY ATTITUDE
In France, only 42% of our waste is recycled, and most of the rest ends up in our oceans or on land. It's a huge source of pollution, damaging both marine and terrestrial life. Being eco-responsible means caring for the environment: in the kitchen, for example, it means eating fruit and vegetables in season! And to buy them from local producers. They'll taste even better, and so will all your recipes and dishes made with love. Ideally, don't throw anything away! Be innovative in your cooking, salvaging whatever you can and then wowing your guests with never-before-seen dishes. It might even arouse their curiosity, and they'll ask you how you did it! Don't miss an opportunity to showcase good-for-the-planet alternatives. And to cook like a chef, nothing beats a good kitchen knife.
In the kitchen, there are many items that can be replaced by zero-waste products. If you have no idea which products to choose, don't worry: we're here to help! For fruit and vegetables: use fabric bags rather than the plastic ones you find in supermarkets. Adopt reusable, washable stainless steel straws and bottles- they're both practical and attractive! Say goodbye to cling film and say hello toreusable beeswax wraps (also known as Bee's wrap) to cover your dishes. Even for coffee: use a washable coffee filter that can be reused. And unless you're more of a capsule person, you can fill your own reusable coffee capsules too! The choice is yours! In any case, come and discover what we've put aside for you!
