The mechanism is simple: a latch, positioned at the base of the blade, which is pushed upwards to unlock the blade, and downwards to lock it. So you can handle your blade in complete safety.
Le Thiers®Verrou pocket knives feature an X50CrMoV15 stainless steel blade. This clever formula gives the steel a good compromise between flexibility, making the blade easily resharpenable, and hardness, reaching 56-57 HRC on the Rockwell scale to ensure a certain durability of the cutting edge.
Its decorated resin handle features an insert of deer antler, an original natural material used since time immemorial in the manufacture of tools and weapons. The irregular shades of the antlers are what make them so unique and charming. Be careful not to confuse them with horns, however, as antlers are a bony product that all deer and roe deer wear on their heads. Unlike cattle horns, antlers fall off and grow back each year.
