The Claude Dozorme knife: remarkable Thiers know-how handed down from generation to generation
It's a family story that began in 1902 near Thiers. In his small cutlery workshop, Blaise Dozorme produced and marketed his first folding knife, which established his reputation in the Thiers knife world. 80 years later, his grandson decided to create the eponymous Claude Dozorme brand, launching the first non-closing Laguiole table knife on the market. Since 1991, Claude's daughter, Claudine Dozorme, has successfully managed the marketing and sales of the family business. In 2013, she was awarded the Auvergnat of the Year trophy for her dynamism, creativity and sense of innovation. The Dozorme knife is a family affair!
Technical and aesthetic pocket knives: the core business of the Claude Dozorme brand.
Claude Dozorme knives stand out from the majority of pocket knife manufacturers in two respects. The first is the design of innovative, avant-garde opening and closing mechanisms. This expertise in pioneering mechanisms is one of the company's cornerstones. The brand incorporates various types of ingenious mechanisms into its closing knives, such as the ball-bearing, liner lock, flat notch with integrated spring, secret system, Sécuriflex pump, etc.
Claude Dozorme's second differentiating feature is the wide variety of coatings available for the handle. In fact, the materials on offer are not only numerous, but also high-quality and original. You can choose from wood, horn, mother-of-pearl, stingray, real feathers...
Last but not least, over the last few years, the Claude Dozorme brand has made a name for itself with a range of high-quality kitchen knives. So don't hesitate any longer, and come and discover this superb French savoir-faire!
