Maison Bérard is a family-run business founded in 1892. Marius Bérard, a true wood lover, founded an object factory in the Drôme. At first, he designed wooden skis and shoe heels. It wasn't until the 1970s that the company specialized in kitchenware.

When it comes to seasoning, salt, spices and herbs need to be protected from air and moisture to retain their full flavour. The Bérard Double Compartment Salt Hand is an original accessory for this purpose, designed to keep your seasonings fresh. It features two containers for storing your various spices. Pepper and salt, sugar and cinnamon or dried herbs of all kinds, store them in complete peace of mind!

100% handcrafted from olive wood, this warm material will bring charm and authenticity to your table. Olive is renowned for its antibacterial qualities, making it ideal for use in the kitchen. Its high density (20% denser than beech) prevents it from absorbing food odors. What's more, its watertightness makes it stain-resistant.

The Bérard double salt pot can only be washed by hand, avoiding aggressive detergents. It is not recommended to use the dishwasher as a backup. To maintain its luster and ensure it lasts for years, we recommend regular application of vegetable oil or wax.
