Revol was founded in 1768. A true French family affair, Revol has developed its own high-end porcelain over the years, using only 100% natural mineral materials. The porcelain is perfectly healthy and safe for you and the environment, as it contains no heavy metals or chemicals.

The mug is made in 3 main stages, using time-honoured craftsmanship. The first step is to pour the ceramic into a traditional plaster mold. Its setting time is estimated by the craftsman's expert eye, according to the quality of the ceramic paste and the vagaries of the weather. The second stage isdeburring. Here, the craftsman delicately removes the seam left by the mold's jointing plane and draws the cup's lip. The final stage isglazing, where the craftsman supports the cup with his fingertips and immerses it in the glaze.

With a capacity of 18cl, the mug is perfect for drinking tea, cappuccino or hot chocolate. It measures 8.5 x 8.5 cm and can be used as an individual kitchen utensil if required. Thanks to its porcelain fired at 1350°C, the mug is non-porous and ovenproof.

The cup has a smooth, highly resistant enamel that retains neither the odors nor the tastes of food. Non-scratching and non-chipping, the enamel ensures a mug you can keep for the long term.
