Enjoy your hot drinks in Revol 's iconic 18cl crinkled tumbler!
This crinkled tumbler is renowned for its modern, original design! It's already found on the world's top tables, as well as in the homes of coffee and hot beverage lovers.
Revol is a family-owned French company based near Lyon. Founded in 1768, it is renowned for its high-quality porcelain. In fact, Revol has developed its own porcelain from 100% natural and mineral materials. This means it's safe for you and the environment, as it contains no heavy metals or chemicals.
The mug is handcrafted using traditional know-how in 3 stages. The first step is to pour the ceramic into a plaster mold. The necessary setting time is assessed by the craftsmen's expert eye, taking into account atmospheric hazards and the quality of the ceramic paste. Next, the craftsman moves on to thetrimming stage, where he delicately erases the seam left by the mold's joints, while drawing the cup's lip. The final stage isglazing, where the craftsman supports the cup with his fingertips, immersing it in the glaze.
With its 18cl capacity, the cup is ideal for drinking a cappuccino, hot chocolate or tea. Measuring 8.5 x 8.5 cm, it becomes a versatile little kitchen utensil when you need it. Thanks to its porcelain fired at 1350°C, the cup is non-porous and oven-proof.
The cup's enamel is smooth and highly resistant, so it doesn't retain food tastes or odors. The enamel won't scratch or French fry, so you'll be able to keep your mug for years to come. Versatile, it can be used for savory or sweet dishes, hot, cold or frosted, as it can be frozen down to -20°C.
Its Terre de Sienne color brings a dose of softness and delicacy to your table! And it's dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning!
