Perfect dimensions, it's big (and rather heavy) Very (very) smooth and easy to wash: gutter essential. The little runners mean it doesn't slip on the worktop. The juice hole is bigger than I expected (but still not gigantic, it won't be enough for a chicken). Too bad there's no little notch to let the juice run out without getting it everywhere. Ideal when you've got a lot of vegetables that aren't juicy to cut (don't expect to cut 4 nice tomatoes for a taboulet).

Bought to replace a glass board that had a number of advantages, but also some disadvantages, particularly when cutting, this HD500 board is very pleasant. The contact with the knife is reassuring and it's very easy to clean. There's just one tiny drawback: the material is dense, so the board is quite heavy. So all in all, a very good product.
