The handle of the Fällkniven Modern Bowie is made of Thermorun. Thermorun is a type of rubbery polymer that offers excellent grip. This unique construction is the result of special attention to the rigorous climatic conditions of the Swedish Arctic. The blade is securely fixed in the handle by the tang that runs through it, reinforcing its strength. Compared to the other knives in the Fällkniven Pro range, the Modern Bowie is distinguished by its relatively thick handle. This design provides a better grip than a narrower handle. What's more, the knife is fitted with a protective guard, preventing your hand from slipping over the blade.
The Fällkniven MB knife has a convex edge, a feature found on most of the brand's knives. Unlike a flat V-shaped blade, the bowie's is slightly curved.
