This versatile profile is well-suited for both everyday tasks and light outdoor activities.154CM steel is an American stainless steel originally developed for demanding applications, particularly in the aerospace industry. Thumb Stud opening system
The knife opens directly usingthe thumb stud located on the blade. Pressing this stud sets the blade in motion, allowing it to be deployed without using the other hand. This mechanism is ideal for situations where speed and freedom of movement are essential.
In addition to deploying the blade, the thumb stud improves finger positioning. The phosphor bronze washers ensure a smooth and consistent action. The user can choose which hand to use to operate the knife, provided they adjust their grip accordingly.
The Crossbar Lock
When the blade is open, the Crossbar Lock system secures it using a bar that runs through the handle’s internal mechanism. This bar rests against the heel of the blade to prevent it from closing during use. To close the knife, both levers must be pulled simultaneously, and then the blade must be carefully retracted.
Usage Tips
Use the blade for tasks suited to its size: cutting cardboard, preparing small items, cutting string, or light outdoor work. Avoid twisting, using the blade as a lever, or cutting materials that are too hard. After use, wipe the blade with a soft cloth. A drop of oil on the pivot and the Crossbar Lock mechanism will keep them running smoothly. Do not expose the knife to prolonged moisture, and never put it in the dishwasher.
