Opinel Neo6 knife 7cm blade Opiflex® olive wood handle

With its Opinel Neo6 olive wood knife, Opinel revisits one of its great classics! This clever knife combines the elegance of Mediterranean wood with innovative opening technology. Compact, safe and practical, it's ideal for many everyday situations. It's the ideal accessory for :

• Occasional hikers looking for a lightweight knife
• Collectors of fine pocket knives
• City dwellers who want a knife that's both useful and refined

Of course, Opinel always puts the emphasis on meticulous manufacturing and well-thought-out design, with that French flair we love!

A secure and efficient rounded blade

The Neo6's blade measures 7cm, an ideal length for everyday use. It's long enough to cut efficiently, but without cluttering your pocket. It is made of martensitic stainless steel, a high-performance alloy that :

• Resists corrosion, even in humid environments
• Retains its sharpness over time
• Sharpens easily, even with a stone

The blade has a hardness of 55-57 HRC, combining strength and ease of maintenance. And for optimum safety, the tip of the blade is rounded. It's ideal for stress-free use, even during small, quick manipulations. Choose a knife that's safe, efficient and versatile!

Opiflex® innovation: modernity for simplicity

The Neo6 folding knife is the very first model to feature the Opiflex® mechanism, an innovation by Opinel. This patented, non-locking system ensures smooth, intuitive handling. It stands out for :

• Simple, no-force opening
• Fast, controlled closing
• Blade held in open position thanks to well-thought-out flexibility

This mechanism replaces the classic Virobloc® safety ring. It provides real comfort in everyday use. Forget jamming or rigid systems: here, the gesture is natural. Opiflex® is modernity in the essence of Opinel!

The warm, elegant olive wood handle

The varnished olive wood handle is perhaps this knife's finest feature. This noble wood with its golden sheen and unique grain originates from the Mediterranean basin. It is appreciated for :

• Its natural robustness, which withstands shocks
• Its warm, luminous appearance
• Its pleasant grip, even after prolonged use

The varnish protects the wood while highlighting its natural nuances. And finally, a leather strap attaches to the end of the handle. The knife is practical to hang, pleasant to handle and very elegant to use!

How to use and care for the Opinel Neo6 knife

This Opinel Neo6 Olivier knife is built to last, provided it is carefully maintained. Here are our tips for long-lasting care:

• Clean the blade with lukewarm water after each use. Do not put the knife in the dishwasher
• Dry it immediately, to avoid marks or corrosion
• Lubricate the axle from time to time to keep it moving smoothly
• Keep the knife dry, away from prolonged sources of humidity
