The Buck 791 Range Pro folding knife combines a high-performance blade, a featherlight weight, and a secure grip!
This American pocket knife stays discreet in your pocket while still rising to the challenge during more demanding tasks.
A blade ready for action
Its 9-cm drop-point blade is made of American 154CM stainless steel, an alloy prized for its excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and ability to retain its edge over time. Originally developed for demanding mechanical applications, 154CM steel later found a prominent place in cutlery thanks to the work of renowned knife makers such as Bob Loveless.
The blade features an elegant satin finish and a smooth edge suitable for everyday cutting tasks. With a thickness of 2 mm and a total length of 20 cm when open, this folding pocket knife offers a good balance between precision and durability. Its 20° sharpening angle also makes it easy to maintain the edge.

The FRN(Fiber Reinforced Nylon) handle is made from a glass-fiber-reinforced nylon base. This technical material provides greater rigidity and strength than standard nylon, while remaining very lightweight. The result is an EDC knife that’s easy to carry, sturdy enough for outdoor adventures, and comfortable for repeated use.
Easy blade deployment
Thethumb stud system allows you to open the knife quickly, even when your other hand is occupied. Press your thumb against the thumb stud, then guide the blade as it rotates open. This design provides a smoother experience during outdoor activities, workshop tasks, or everyday use.
Crossbar Lock system
Once deployed, the blade is held in place by the Crossbar Lock system. This crossbar mechanism can be operated from either side of the handle, making it suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The reversible tip-up clip allows you to carry the knife on the right or left side, depending on your preference.
Usage Tips
After each outdoor use, wipe the blade with a soft cloth to remove moisture and residue. A drop of mechanism oil can be applied occasionally to the pivot pin. Clean the handle with lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly. To preserve the 154CM steel, avoid dishwashers, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged storage in a humid environment.
