FOX Military FX-599 Karambit folding knife 10cm black G10 handle

Fox Cutlery is located in Maniago , Italy. Surrounded by the most renowned international designers, the company creates high-performance folding knives with an authentic look, such as the small FOX Military Karambit FX.599 knife.

The blade is 6.5 cm long and 3 mm thick. The blade is made of N690Co steel, an alloy of Austrian origin. Austria is just a few kilometers from the town of Maniago, where the knives are made. What's more, this alloy is enriched with 1.07% carbon. Its characteristics are therefore very similar to those of VG10 steel, which is very robust, stainless and retains its cutting edge for a long time(provided it is well maintained). You won't need to resharpen your knife regularly. Although its Rockwell hardness is 58-60HRC on the Rockwell scale, it is not brittle at all.

Matching the blade, the black G10 plate handle is particularly resistant to shock, corrosion and temperature shock. So it can accompany you on all your outdoor outings with family and friends*. Measuring 10cm without the ring and 12cm with it, it's a small knife that's easy to adapt to your hands, thanks to its fingerprints. The material is non-slip, so there's no risk of it slipping out of your hands, even when wearing gloves!

There are several ways to open the knife. The first is by using the Thumbhole system(hole located on the blade). The second is the flipper opening , a very quick system. Thirdly, clip your knife(on the handle) into a pocket. Pull on the ring and the blade unfolds by itself. It is then locked by a linerlock located in the handle.
