Gastronorm trays are an indispensable part of any professional kitchen. Used in restaurants, hotels and commercial kitchens, they enable dishes to be stored, prepared and served efficiently. However, to optimize their use, it's important to use appropriate lids.
Comas lids keep food fresh by protecting it from air and contaminants. They also prevent food from being exposed to unsafe temperatures and avoid spills during transport.
The GN 1/4 Comas lid is specially designed for GN 1/4 gastronorm containers. The Gastro Norme system, often abbreviated to "GN", standardizes the container sizes used in catering and professional kitchens. This standardization facilitates the organization of storage space, food preparation and kitchen management. The precise dimensions of the lids guarantee a perfect seal, essential for optimal food preservation. The model is easily identifiable by the label on the lid.
Made from 18/0 stainless steel, the lid is corrosion-resistant and food-safe. Its design with reinforced corners and rim guarantees extra strength. Whether you want to keep your food hot or cold, this lid will serve you well. It can also be washed in the dishwasher, saving time and ensuring impeccable hygiene in the kitchen. And for easy storage, the lids stack together, saving you space in your kitchen.
