The Georgette Aventure is an original piece of cutlery imagined and designed by Jean-Louis Orengo, in France. A specialist in ichnology (the interpretation of animal footprints) and a lover of nature, he thought of designing this very practical tool to make his outings more ergonomic.
The Georgette Aventure combines 4 functions, so you don't have to carry multiple utensils in your backpack, while avoiding disposable plastic cutlery. Here are the functions available on the Georgette:
- Fork, thanks to the toothed part available at the end of the utensil: it allows you to prick and pick up food to bring it to your mouth.
- Knife: even though it has no teeth, the Georgette can cut soft foods with its rounded side.
- Spoon: the Georgette's hollow surface is perfect for holding liquids such as soups or juices.
- Small spoon: the tip of the handle has a small hollow for this purpose!
Its 16cm size makes it easy to grasp, for a pleasant grip and marked control. Its shape is inspired by the study of animal paws (bear, mole...), which explains its natural ergonomics. It also has a hole through which you can thread a cord and hang it. It can be used by both right- and left-handed users.
It's made from bright-finish stainless steel, a durable, corrosion-resistant material. You can wash it in the dishwasher to save time, while taking care not to overload your cutlery basket.
You can slip the Georgette into your backpack, but it also equips Michelin-starred restaurants, and is suitable for children as well as adults, and also for people with reduced autonomy. It's suitable for everyone! In fact, it won the Lépine competition in 2016.
What's more, owning a Georgette means helping to fund 2 scientific projects, including the creation of an international conservatory of tracks! Discover all the outdoor accessories available from Knifeleader!
