It's made of stainless steel, for long-lasting durability. In fact, this alloy is resistant to corrosion and shocks.
Its overall size is 10.5cm, and it fits both the small Benriner mandoline with extra-wide pusher and the mandoline with standard pusher. It's perfectly normal if the blade is longer than the cutting channel, as the lost edges serve to secure the blade in the holder.
To insert the blade into your mandolin, simply unscrew the side screws, insert the blade and retighten the screws.
