Description

This Matfer flashlight is ideal for caramelizing desserts such as crème brûlée, soldering sugar preparations or browning poultry.

Its preheating system guarantees a constant flame and temperature. It also ensures that there is no excessive flashback, protecting you from burns.

Ignition is also very easy, thanks to the piezo located above the handle. The gas flow is also adjustable, so you can adjust the intensity of the flame and brown your dishes to your liking!

The handle is made of non-slip bi-material, for comfortable use. Its shape adapts perfectly to your hand for incomparable ergonomics.

The cartridge holder is made of ABS, a tough, durable polymer. It also ensures stability, as you can place your flashlight on your worktop without the risk of it falling, thanks to its round surface.

The suspension ring at the end of the handle lets you hang your flashlight for optimal storage.

The gas cartridge is not supplied with the flashlight. It is only compatible with the following refill: Matfer gas cartridge 061684.

Good product, as advertised. Too bad the offer does not include gas cartridges.

In addition to its imposing size, which makes it hard to use (but I should have seen this before buying), the gas flow is not regular and it's difficult to get a flame that's neither too big nor too small and stable. All in all, with a little effort it does the job. But hey... there's better.

Bought for Mother's Day (ordered ten days in advance and delivered a week late), it left the recipient a little disillusioned at first, as she couldn't get it to work immediately (which added to the frustration of not getting her present on Mother's Day).
