In your pocket or in a bag, you can always have it with you, the folding knife is an efficient and practical tool. Whether indoors or out, it'll be your companion on every journey.
LE FIDELE has been making regional knives such as its Laguiole-type knives for decades. Their knives are made exclusively in France. They are renowned for their authentic, traditional design. Offering a wide range of products in a variety of materials - snakewood, ebony and walnut handles - LE FIDELE has made the pocket knife more than just a tool, it's become a true collector's item.
This 12cm Laguiole folding knife features a Sandvik 12c27 stainless steel blade that is resistant to corrosion. Its alloy of chromium (13.6%) and carbon (0.6%) gives this blade a hardness of 57HRC on the Rockwell scale. This blade retains its quality cutting edge for a long time.
It can be used for a wide range of cutting operations: you can cut food, such as meat, as well as outdoor materials like cord. The part above the bolster, designed to accommodate your finger, is designed to make the knife more comfortable for the user to hold, for more efficient cutting.
Equipped with the Nail Nick system, the notch at the end of the blade makes this knife easy to open.
The handle is decorated in cedar wood with ebony veneers. Thuja is a rare wood, unique among exotic woods for its hardness and the hundreds of textures it presents. Its veins alternate between undulations and straight lines, and its unique hue is speckled. Ebony is also considered an exotic wood.
