What are the advantages of a Microplane Master rasp?
The double-edged grater is recommended for hard or soft cheeses, vegetables such as carrots and zucchinis, or butter and chocolate. It's bi-directional, so it's very practical!
The blade is made of top-quality stainless steel manufactured in the USA. Thanks to its unique photochemical design, its cutting edge is formidable in all applications. This process involves cutting the grater blade with a special solution, ensuring impeccable results. Thanks to this cutting quality, food is not damaged, and you can preserve all its taste.
A non-slip tube has been fitted to the blade frame, to prevent it from slipping during use, or simply to protect your work surface: simply place this stable base on a flat surface and the grater will not move during use.

The Master Series handle is made of oiled walnut from Kentucky, USA. Its deep shades give it an undeniable cachet, and a rustic feel that contrasts with the blade. A steel hook has been attached to the end of the handle for hanging the utensil, so you always have it close at hand.
For maintenance, the grater should be washed by hand without soaking in the sink, to preserve its appearance and effectiveness (obviously, wood is not dishwasher-safe). We recommend wiping the grater with a soft cloth as soon as you've finished washing it, for extra care.
