Old Bear XL craft knife 10cm stainless steel blade olive wood handle with ferrule

This knife (model L) is part of the Old Bear olive wood knife collection .

It features a 10cm blade in AISI 420 stainless steel (hardness 54/56 HRC on the Rockwell scale). The Old Bear logo is engraved directly on the cutting surface.

Interesting point: the blade can be stored inside the handle, making it easier and safer to carry! It is locked by an ingenious safety ferrule in hand-brushed brass.

Simply turn it to unlock the blade so you can use it, or turn it in the other direction once the blade is folded, to lock it in the handle. Practical and efficient! In fact, this opening/closing system has been patented by the brand.

The 13cm handle is made from cut olive wood, then treated with oil to increase its durability. Olive is a pleasant wood to hold, with a delicate scent and warm tones. Its unique grain gives it an extra touch of authenticity.

It's important to note that, as this is a handcrafted (and therefore unique) knife, it may differ slightly from other existing models. This adds authenticity to the knife, and in no way detracts from its qualities and functionality.

The knife comes in a small cardboard box. Each box also contains the quality control certificate signed by the craftsman himself. So you can make a lovely gift for a loved one, or treat yourself!
