Designed in collaboration with the Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme de Chamonix, the Opinel Néo7 Alpine linden knife is the perfect companion for anyone who loves climbing, mountaineering, ski touring or ice climbing!
Lightweight, discreet and darn smart, it packs several useful functions into a compact format. Its lime color, combined with the natural brown of cork, recalls mountain landscapes and alpine forests.
Made in France, this Opinel folding knife features an 8.3cm serrated stainless steel blade. The serration makes it easy to slice ropes, webbing, technical textiles or foodstuffs. The hole in the blade makes the knife lighter and easier to open.
The knife features the Opiflex® system, an ingenious ring that holds the blade open or closed without mechanical locking. No ring to turn, no complicated handling, operation remains fluid and intuitive, even when wearing gloves.
The 9.7cm handle in 30% glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene is resistant to cold, shock and humidity. The over-molded cork zone ensures a comfortable, non-slip grip.
This French knife doesn't just cut, it's designed for extreme mountain conditions:
Clean the blade after use and dry the knife thoroughly before storage. Rinsing with clean water is sufficient if the knife has been exposed to snow, salt or moisture. As with all pocket knives, we recommend that you store your knife in a dry place to preserve its performance over the course of your adventures.
Opinel is a leading name in French cutlery. Founded in Savoie, the brand creates simple, ingenious and durable knives. From the famous number 8 to technical models like the Néo7 Alpine, Opinel has been accompanying adventurers for over a century.
