Table knife set 4 Opinel Facette table knives dark ash handle smooth stainless steel blade 11cm

Choose the Opinel Facette set of 4 knives in dark ash and set a table that's both elegant and traditional!

Stainless steel table knives for everyday use

The 4 knives in this set feature an 11cm blade in MA5 martensitic stainless steel. This alloy is both highly resistant to corrosion and shock, and offers excellent mechanical performance.

In fact, this stainless steel is highly resistant to wear and tear, and can cut through hard foods with ease. Be careful, however, not to cut bones, as this could break your blades. MA5 steel achieves a hardness of around 56 HRC on the Rockwell scale, giving knife blades a sharp edge and making them easy to sharpen.

Knife blades have the traditional Opinel Yatagan signature shape. They have a smooth cutting edge that ensures clean cuts on a wide range of foods. Meat, vegetables, fish and cheese are no match for them! What's more, the smooth cutting edge preserves the fibers of the food, so it retains its taste properties.

Last but not least, the blade of each knife is made of full silk. It runs the full length of the knives, making them even more robust and reliable.

Design table knives in dark ash

The knives in this set feature dark ash wood handles. Ash is a naturally light and robust wood. Here, the ash has been heat-stabilized throughout, giving it its dark hue. So you benefit from handles that are even more resistant to moisture and long-lasting.

The dark ash inserts are securely attached to the knives' full tang blade by 3 small rivets, increasing their strength tenfold.

Opinel's Facette range was imagined by the BIG-GAME design studio, a studio with which the Savoy-based brand is accustomed to working. In the past, Opinel called on the studio to design its Intempora range. The Facette knives feature the traditional Opinel pocket-knife heel. What's more, in addition to their Yatagan shape, the knives' full silk blades protrude from the ash plates, giving them a beautiful blend of tradition, modernity and elegance.

These top-quality knives are made in France and presented in an attractive blue box. They make a great gift idea and a practical storage solution.
