Table knife set 4 Opinel Facette Panaché table knives, 11cm smooth stainless steel blade

The Opinel Facette Panaché set of 4 knives brings elegant, varied decoration to your table!

Design table knives with original handles

This set stands out for its original composition. Each knife has a different handle!

The first knife has a handle made from ash, a hardwood from the forests of the Jura region. Ash is a tough, durable wood with a light beige or even white color, highlighted by regular, slightly blond veining.

The second knife has a handle made from olive wood, the symbol of the Mediterranean. Characterized by its warm hue and sinuous grain, olive wood is polished for a pleasant grip. It's a very strong wood.

The third knife has a dark ash handle. It has the same characteristics as the light ash mentioned above, but its dark color is obtained after thermal stabilization in the heart. This process makes the wood more resistant to humidity.

The fourth and final knife in the set features a handle made from white VittEr® eco-material. This is a new composite material made from compressed paper. It is highly waterproof, antibacterial, scratch-resistant and shock-resistant. Highly robust, it is dishwasher-safe.

Wooden or VittEr® inserts are securely attached to the knives by 3 small rivets, ensuring tenfold strength for everyday use.

The design of the knives was created by the BIG-GAME studio to subtly combine tradition and modernity. The knives feature the traditional Yatagan blade and Opinel heel, but the blade bristles protrude from the plates for a modern touch. Your table will be elegantly set with these Facette knives!

These Opinel table knives have a stainless steel blade.

All 4 knives in the set have an 11cm blade in MA5 stainless steel. This is a martensitic steel with excellent mechanical performance. Thanks to its high resistance to abrasion, it can easily cut hard foods (without bones).

In addition, MA5 steel has a hardness of around 56 HRC, giving it a clean, efficient cutting edge that's easy to sharpen whenever you need to.

The blades have a smooth cutting edge perfect for slicing all types of food. From meat and vegetables to cheese and fish, these are high-performance knives! The smooth cutting edge ensures clean cuts without damaging the flesh and fibers of the food. As a result, they preserve all their gustatory qualities.

Finally, the blades are of full tang design, i.e. they measure the entire length of the knives. This guarantees reliable knives with tenfold strength over the long term.

The knives are soberly and elegantly presented in a blue box. This box not only offers a practical storage solution for your knives, but also makes a superb gift idea.
