Featuring two identically designed mills, the Peugeot Bistro pepper and salt mill duo is an excellent option for perfecting your seasoning and table decor. Borrowing the shapes of the very first Z model from 1874, these tools are elegant, durable and easy to use.

The bodies of the Bistro salt and pepper mills are made of transparent acrylic. This material was chosen for its aesthetic appeal and solidity, but also - and above all - for its practicality. In fact, it allows you to see the salt and pepper inside the reservoir, which helps you anticipate the need to buy spices when the container is almost empty. Last but not least, acrylic is easy to maintain: a wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it takes to clean it and make it sparkle again.

Specific mechanisms for personalized grinding

Each mill in the Bistro acrylic duo features Peugeot's own patented steel mechanism, guaranteed for life. Both mills also feature the classic adjustment knob for customizing the grind size of dry salt/rock salt crystals and grit. The tighter the grind, the finer the texture of the spices.

The Bistro pepper mill is designed to grind various types of pepper (white, black, red, green), pink berries (if mixed with other varieties), and coriander grit.

The Bistro salt mill, on the other hand, is suitable for dry salt only, and grinds white, pink and blue rock salt crystals up to 4mm perfectly. Please note that wet salt (such as Guérande salt), even dried, should not be used to preserve the efficiency and longevity of the mechanism.
