Explore the all-new Classic Colour Wusthof range and dive into an adventure at the heart of an international community of enthusiasts. The knives in this new series are now available with colored handles and brass rivets.
What sets this Wusthof Classic Colour Pink Himalayan SaltBread knife apart is its double-toothed edge. Unlike a conventional serrated edge, this knife has serrations within serrations. This means it maintains its edge longer, requires less pressure when cutting, and delivers precise, smooth cuts. This avoids crushing the hard crust of bread, while enabling clean cutting of soft crusts, without tearing their delicate surface.
The Wüsthof Classic Colour knife is forged from a single piece of stainless steel. And thanks to the tang that runs the length of the handle, its strength is enhanced. Hardness is rated at 58HRC on the Rockwell scale. A good compromise between wire conservation and ease of sharpening.
In contrast, the handle of the Wusthof 1061706423 knife is made of synthetic material and has an attractive pink hue. Its slightly domed shape makes it particularly comfortable to hold. A Bolster connects the blade to the handle.
To maintain the sharpness of your knife, avoid using it on hard surfaces such as glass, ceramic or metal. And for maintenance, we recommend hand-washing.
