The Matfer professional spatula, entirely made in France, is a kitchen utensil that every pastry chef or cook must have!
Its flexible blade measures 20.5cm and is 39mm wide. It's made from stainless steel, an alloy that's not susceptible to corrosion, is shock-resistant and easy to maintain. The Matfer logo is visible on its surface. Its angled shape allows you to perform many tasks with ease. It's ideal for lifting pancakes, icing pastries and even smoothing dough!
The handle is made of black overmoulded PP (more precisely called polypropylene in kitchen circles). The fact that it's overmolded adds to the spatula's strength, since the steel is doubly set by the polymer. As a result, the blade won't come apart.
