Bérard handmade olive wood rice spoon 21,5cm

The Bérard brand was created in 1892 thanks to Marius Bérard 's passion for wood. He started out as an object manufacturer, designing shoe heels and skis. It wasn't until the 1970s that the company specialized in the world of kitchens, using beech, boxwood and, of course, the quintessential Mediterranean wood:olive.

This rice spoon is made from olive wood designed for preparing and serving rice. This particularly dense wood doesn't absorb odors from your food and withstands very high temperatures. Moreover, it has been nourished with beeswax to further enhance this resistance. The design of this Bérard spoon has been developed to avoid breaking rice grit. It has wide edges to hold food firmly and measure out precisely when serving portions.

Admire its unique features, as wood is a living material, with its own distinctive grain patterns. Each model differs according to the piece of wood used.
