The Herold brand is renowned for the quality of its razor leathers, and this Russian-style razor leather with two sides of leather on felt is no exception!
It's perfect for giving your blade a delicate edge. It's made in Solingen, the capital of razor-leather manufacturing and quality cutlery in Germany.
Both sides of the leather are mounted on red felt that cushions the blade, for gentle sharpening that won't damage the edge of your blade. Simply run your knife/razor blades over the leather several times before each use to give them their best performance.
The wooden handle is highly shock-resistant, and its soft color finishes off the accessory with elegance. Its width makes it easy to handle, so you can grip the leather with one hand and sharpen your knife with the other. This allows you to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
We recommend that you use a little razor paste and spread it over the leather for a better result. There's no need to reapply paste each time you use the leather. The overall dimensions of the leather are 32 x 4cm.
