The brand was founded in 1986 by Spencer Frazer, a designer with a passion for knives and tools. The brand strives for constant innovation, using cutting-edge technologies to create tools that meet the specific needs of every user.
As its name suggests, this Ultra XR Gold knife features a gold finish. This detail is visible on the blade and pocket clip. This gives SOG SGULTRAXRGD a luxurious, elegant design.
It has the same technical features as the standard version of the SOG Ultra XR. Its CPM S35VN stainless steel blade offers excellent corrosion resistance, good edge retention and high wear resistance.
The handle, meanwhile, is made of carbon fiber. This lightweight, hard-wearing material offers excellent grip and resistance to wear. The ergonomic design of the handle makes the knife comfortable to use for long periods.
The knife features a gold-plated pocket clip. This can be used to attach the knife to your belt or the neckline of your pants.
To open the blade, simply pull the hole with your thumb. Once deployed, the blade is locked by an XR lock system . This holds the blade securely in place during use.
