The 8cm blade has a Japanese stainless steel core : VG10 steel. This steel contains 1% carbon, enabling the blade to reach 60HRC. Carbon is ideal for reinforcing a blade's hardness, and hardness in turn enhances sharpness and durability. This core is wrapped in 66 layers ofDamascus steel. By definition, these are superimposed layers of hard and soft steel, balancing hardness and flexibility. The top of the blade is hammered, giving the knife a typically Japanese aesthetic design.

The blade has been hand-sharpened by an artisan cutler in Japan (traditional know-how) after being laser-cut by a machine (modern technique). The edge is razor-sharp and long-lasting, so there's no need to resharpen the blade often.

The purple anodized aluminum handle is decorated with several crosses. When the knife is closed, only the top of the hammered blade is visible, the design is close to perfection. There's a clip on the back of the handle so you can clip it to a stand or your belt, for example*!

The blade is easily unfolded with one hand, thanks to a double lug, which is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users. The liner lock allows you to use your knife without the risk of the blade closing.
