Spyderco Endura has always been considered one of the best lightweight, compact and powerful folding knives. Today, its fourth generation still satisfies the needs and preferences of cutlery professionals.
The Spyderco Endura 4 has a special opening system that sets it apart from other knives of its type: the Emerson opening device. This is a hook integrated into the back of the blade; when hooked onto the edge of the pocket, it causes the knife blade to open when gripped for use. This mechanism was invented by a famous American cutler: Ernest Emerson.
Its ultra-sharp blade is made of VG10 stainless steel with a hardness of around 60 HRC. What's more, its smooth, clip-point blade with anti-reflective satin finish is supported by a sturdy lock: the Back-Lock.
As for the handle, it is made of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon with high rigidity, high mechanical strength and a high degree of hardness. The handle is also covered with a non-slip texture for improved grip.
