Spyderco has designed the Chicago folding knife in compliance with the law in force in the city of Chicago, where it is forbidden to carry a knife with a blade exceeding 5cm in length. This Spyderco folding knife is ideal for all enthusiasts of small knives with good cutting capacity.
Its reduced-size blade is made from CTS BD1 stainless steel with high percentages of carbon and chromium, offering excellent rust, hardness and wear resistance properties. This high-grade steel was designed in the largest steel mill in the USA: Carpenter. Spyderco's patented Spyderhole system makes it easy to open the blade.
The 7.9cm-long handle is made of fiberglass and durable resin. It is resistant to high and low temperatures, as well as to chemical agents. Spyderco has chosen a Liner-Lock locking system invented by Michael Walker for this folding knife. There is a steel rod inside the handle that butts up against the folding knife's blade to prevent it from closing in the open position.
A pocket clip is visible on the back of the handle for easy transport in your trouser pocket.
