The giant Spdyerco launched the first cutlery project dedicated to rescue professionals in 1991. What makes this Rescue 3 folding knife so special is the profile of its serrated Sheepfoot blade, for gentle cutting of belts and clothing. Rescue 3 is a must-have for all conditions.
Its 100% stainless steel VG10 blade, hardened to 59-61 HRC, resists abrasion and mechanical stress. Its Sheepfoot blade profile and toothed cutting edge finish (one large and two small "two-step" teeth) will make short work of hard, fibrous materials. The Rescue 3 blade has an anti-reflective satin finish.
Open the blade quickly and easily with Spyderco's patented 14mm diameter SpyderHole opening system.
You'll not only get outstanding cutting performance, but also incredible ergonomics with its handle made of glass-fiber reinforced nylon covered with an anti-slip texture. Say goodbye to cramps and slippery hands! You'll have a perfect grip.
Spyderco has developed a back-lock system for this version of the Rescue 3, which prevents the blade from closing unexpectedly during a strong grip.
Whether you're a rescuer or an adventurer in the wilderness, this Rescue 3 pocket knife will come in handy in any situation!
