The Roadie pocket knife from Spyderco is practical, functional and high-performance!
Featuring a "double-tooth" mechanism, the black Roadie is considered a more practical and user-friendly pocketknife than its historical predecessors. In fact, the double-tooth mechanism is a pair of symmetrical dimples in the blade to enable two-handed opening without the use of fingernails.
TheSheepfoot-shaped blade, made of high-grade steel, stands up to regular use while retaining its sharpness. You're looking at Böhler-Uddeholm N690Co stainless steel, alloyed with cobalt, molybdenum and vanadium.
As for the handle, it's made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon. This ultra-lightweight handle provides a comfortable grip and prevents hand cramps.
The handle features a textured non-slip surface for a perfect, non-slip grip.
The blade is held in the open position by the Slip Joint system. The blade will therefore be safely stopped by your finger.
At the end of the blade, a two-handed indentation is visible, enabling you to open the blade easily by placing your thumb and forefinger over the indentation.
