Did you know that Byrd was created by Spyderco? The world-renowned brand decided to offer a range of knives at attractive prices for fans of the Spyderco design. The Byrd brand was born of this idea!
This Byrd Cara Cara 2 G10 knife is the big brother of the Byrd Meadowlark 2 G10. It's bigger, which means a larger cutting surface for a wider range of tasks, and a more imposing handle. The Cara Cara 2 features a smooth 9.8cm blade with exceptional cutting precision. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, a corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
The handle of this Byrd Cara Cara 2 knife is made of G10. This sturdy material will not warp over time and is highly resistant to external aggression. You'll find a clip that can be positioned in 4 different positions for easy carrying. At the end of the handle, a small hole lets you add a thin lace to secure your cuts.
The 2 notched sections near the handle are designed to wedge your fingers and prevent them from slipping on the cutting edge.
Open the blade with one hand, thanks to the thumbhole. Once unfolded, the blade is locked with the back lock system to prevent it from moving during use. To close your knife, simply apply pressure to the pump on the handle and close the blade.
With this Byrd Cara Cara 2 BY03GP2 folding knife, you can go on picnics in the forest, do DIY at home or simply open your mail!
