Sauveterre French knives

Born from the inspiration of a TV soap opera in 1998, Sauveterre is a folding knife brand that originated in the village of Sauveterre de Rouergue. Initially created for the film, the Sauveterre knife quickly won the hearts of the public, leading to the opening of a dedicated cutlery shop by Guy Vialis the same year. After his death, Christian Valat, from Laguiole in Aubrac, took up the torch in 2018. With its silhouette reminiscent of the famous straight Laguiole, the Sauveterre knife stands out for its finesse, refinement and sharp blade. Sauveterre knives are available in different sizes: 9cm and 11cm and in table or pocket versions. They are made from natural materials such as boxwood, walnut, juniper, horn and deer antler, reflecting a commitment to authenticity and sustainability.
